The hike takes about three hours of climbing the steep and sometimes narrow steps, however, the payoff is a breathtaking view of the Sinai mountains at sunrise. On their descent, most hiking tours will stop by St. Katherine’s Monastery for a quick visit and refreshments.
Hurghada is the next largest city along the Red Sea and attracts international tourism year round. This modern and contemporary city is famous for the beautiful marina and some of the best dining on the coast. Swim, play water sports or just relax on the shore by day, and escape to the abundant nightclubs and casinos by night.
Marsa Alam is located just south of Hurghada and attracts the serious minded divers and water sports enthusiasts. The city is somewhat smaller than its counterparts along the coast, but it is rich with scenic beauty and a calm and quiet atmosphere. Wherever you choose to stay along the Red Sea, you are guaranteed a piece of paradise that you can call your own. Try a well-rounded tour for some of the select locations at the Red Sea, or spend the week in a villa on the beach.
